How dose Havening Work?

The Havening Techniques® use touch as a therapeutic tool we call Havening Touch®. This touch generates a delta wave in the brain, this changes in our chemistry in the brain, sending a message of feeling safe. We can recall a painful event from the past, apply Havening touch along with the other techniques can clear the debilitating emotions because it deletes the receptors (the alarms) that trigger the thoughts and actions of not being safe.

 

There are seven techniques used with what we call ‘brain games’ distractions of the brain, like counting numbers or imagining walking in nature.  These are the various techniques used, Event Havening, Role Havening, Affirmational Havening, affirmational Havening, Transpirational Havening, Outcome Havening and Hopeful Havening. A combination of techniques are used and you do not need to share your past experiences with me.

Havening can be used with a Practitioner certified in the Havening Techniques®. These techniques can also be used by yourself or once shown by a certified practitioner you can apply self havening.
